Minister Erika Mouynes, a diplomat and business executive, is the Chair of the Atlantic Council, Latam Center and a Fellow at the Advance Leadership Initiative of Harvard University.   She brings over two decades of high-level government and private sector experience.  She has held several high-ranking governmental positions, practiced as a senior attorney in a top global law firm and been responsible for executive management of the business and legal affairs of a multibillion investment company on Wall Street.  In her role as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Panama, she achieved notable “first female” milestones for the Latam region and earned recognition for empowering women and brokering global alliances to protect biodiversity.   During her roles in the private sector, she provided strategic counsel on intricate corporate transactions, including cross-border infrastructure and investment projects in emerging markets.  As a Fulbright Scholar, she completed her third master’s degree at the University of California at Berkeley.
